Light-weight and extremely comfortable to work on. I love the reverse tilt. The number pad takes 2 3032 disc batteries and do not last for longer than 2 weeks despite all of HP troubleshooting recommendations.
Sent me a used keyboard with a broken battery tray....in a zip lock bag
The keyboard is great for replacing the Microsoft Sculpt which sadly has been discontinued. However, the problem with the keyboard is several of the ones we've ordered for our company, the keys would pop out and we can't put them back in. Also what is terrible is this happens around 40 days after purchase and we're unable to return nor get a replacement. Also HP haven't been helpful in their support as they've recommend we just purchase a new one. Obviously this doesn't help us in the long run.
I bought this to replace my Microsoft Sculpt keyboard after years of use, which I loved, but they are no longer sold anymore. While the typing functionality of the HP keyboard is great, it has one major deficiency. There is only one raiser in the middle underside of the keyboard to prop the keyboard up. That is an awful design because if you take one hand off the keyboard, you inevitably end up, slamming a side of the keyboard down to your desk because the weight ends up being unbalanced. This obviously was not well thought out as there should be a raiser on each side so it doesn’t end up slamming to your desk if you take one wrist off your keyboard. I hate constantly having to be careful of this… & I’ll inevitably replace this when I find a better option because using it like this is not sustainable (& you need the keyboard raised for proper ergonomic support). My Microsoft keyboard had a support across the whole underside of the keyboard. I’m tempted to try to do a deep clean of my old keyboard & go back to it, even though it is very old. It would be better than the constant startling imbalance of this keyboard, slamming into my desk.
I was sent a used keyboard. The box was ripped, keyboard was dirty and bartteries were already installed and dead upon arrival. I ordered a "new" item and was clearly sent a used item
